Women’s Hockey season ends against UConn

The Boston University women’s hockey team (12-15-6, 11-10-5 Hockey East) was in Storrs yesterday afternoon to take on the University of Connecticut Huskies (23-8-4, 16-7-4 HE) in the Hockey East Quarterfinals. The Terriers’ season ended after falling 3-1. 

Women’s Hockey heads to UConn for Hockey East playoffs

After a challenging second half of the season, the Boston University women’s ice hockey team (12-14-6, 11-9-5 Hockey East) is set to travel to Storrs, Connecticut on Saturday to face the University of Connecticut Huskies (22-8-4, 16-7-4 HE) in the first round of the Hockey East playoffs. 

Onto playoffs: Women’s Hockey loses in OT on Senior Night

The Boston University women’s hockey team (12-14-6, 11-9-5 Hockey East) took the ice for their last regular-season matchup against the Providence College Friars (15-13-6, 12-12-3 HE) this evening at Walter Brown Arena. On the Terriers’ senior night they fell 2-1 in a hard-fought overtime game. 

Women’s Hockey to close regular season against Providence

After sophomore forward Lacey Martin lit the lamp to give the Boston University women’s hockey team (12-13-5, 11-8-4 Hockey East) the overtime win over the University of Maine, BU is set to play the Providence College Friars (14-13-5, 11-12-2 HE) in a home and home series. 

Women’s Hockey with OT win over Maine

With just Maine goaltender Jorden Mattison standing between the Terriers and a victory, sophomore forward Lacey Martin squared to shoot. Martin found the back of the net and the Boston University women’s hockey team (12-13-5, 11-8-4 HE) defeated the University of Maine Blackbears (12-18-1, 10-13-1 HE) 3-2 in overtime. 

Terriers come away with a weekend split against the University of Vermont

The Boston University Terriers (10-13-5, 10-8-4 Hockey East) headed north to Burlington, Vermont this weekend for a two-game series against the University of Vermont Catamounts (20-10-2, 17-7-1 HE) and came away with a split. 

Women’s Hockey heads to Burlington to face UVM

The Boston University women’s hockey team (10-12-5, 9-7-4 Hockey East) is headed to Burlington this weekend for a series against the University of Vermont Catamounts (19-9-2, 16-6-1 HE). BU will look to get things going again after having only one regulation win in the last 10 games. 

Women’s Hockey shutout by Huskies in Beanpot consolation game

After falling to Harvard in the first round of the Beanpot last Tuesday, the Boston University women’s hockey team (10-12-5, 9-7-4 Hockey East) lost to the Northeastern University Huskies (23-4-1, 17-3-1 HE) by a score of 3-0 tonight at Matthews Arena.

Women’s Hockey offense can’t get going in loss to BC

The Boston University women’s hockey team (10-11-4, 9-7-4 Hockey East) met up with their cross-town rivals, the Boston College Eagles (17-11, 14-8 HE) for the second time this season. The Eagles took the contest 3-0. 

Women’s Hockey shootout victory against UConn

Following a tough loss to Harvard in the Beanpot semifinal on Tuesday afternoon, the Boston University women’s ice hockey team (10-10-5, 9-6-4 HE) bounced back with a 2-1 shootout win in Hockey East action against the No. 10 University of Connecticut Huskies (20-6-3, 14-5-3 HE) at Walter Brown Arena.
