The Boston University men’s hockey team (19-13-3, 13-9-3 Hockey East) closed out their season this evening in Hartford after falling 3-1 to the University of Connecticut Huskies (19-15-0, 15-10-0 HE) in the Hockey East single elimination quarterfinal game.

Men’s Hockey falls short in shootout to NU after valiant effort

The Boston University men’s hockey team (4-8-2, 3-5-2 Hockey East) headed down the street to Matthews Arena to face the Northeastern University Huskies (9-4-1, 5-3-1 HE), searching for redemption after an unrewarded effort in Friday night’s 0-1 overtime loss. In the final matchup of the two-game series the Terriers put together a cohesive and valiant performance, but fell short in the shootout. The game will be recorded as a 2-2 tie.

Men’s Hockey drops first game of series to Northern Michigan

The Boston University men’s hockey team (3-6-0, 2-4-0 Hockey East) dropped their third game in a row, falling to the Northern Michigan Wildcats (3-5-0) by a score of 5-3 tonight in Marquette. The loss marks the Terriers’ worst start through nine games since the 2009-2010 season, and leaves the BU faithful running out of excuses for their team’s poor play.

Men’s Hockey swept by UMass Lowell in weekend series

Men’s Hockey fails to show up for home opener

The Boston University men’s hockey team (1-1-0) returned to Comm Ave yesterday evening for the first game hosted at Agganis Arena in 581 days. Coming off a 2-1 victory in Hartford the night before, the squad looked for the weekend sweep against the University of Connecticut Huskies (2-1-0) but instead got dominated for most of the competition in a 5-1 loss.
