Women’s Hockey sweeps Merrimack at Walter Brown
The Boston University women’s hockey team (9-5-3, 8-4-3 Hockey East) hosted the Merrimack College Warriors (5-14-1, 4-10-1 HE) at Walter Brown Arena this afternoon where they completed the weekend sweep with a 4-1 victory. Coming off an overtime win on Friday, the Terriers raised their level of play and put together a shutdown game.

The Boston University women’s hockey team (7-5-3, 6-4-3 HE) came out on top with a 5-4 victory, and defended home ice with pride.
Men’s Hockey falls short in shootout to NU after valiant effort
The Boston University men’s hockey team (4-8-2, 3-5-2 Hockey East) headed down the street to Matthews Arena to face the Northeastern University Huskies (9-4-1, 5-3-1 HE), searching for redemption after an unrewarded effort in Friday night’s 0-1 overtime loss. In the final matchup of the two-game series the Terriers put together a cohesive and valiant performance, but fell short in the shootout. The game will be recorded as a 2-2 tie.
