Beanpot is Back: Women’s Hockey to play Harvard in opening round

The time has finally come––it’s Beanpot week! The Boston University women’s hockey team (10-9-4, 9-6-3 HE) will face the No. 6 Harvard University Crimson (15-5, 12-3 ECAC) tomorrow evening at Matthews Arena for the preliminary round of the long-awaited tournament.

After victory in Amherst, Terriers look forward to No. 17 Providence

The Boston University men’s hockey team (12-10-3, 8-6-3 HE) is set for another Hockey East matchup this Sunday, taking on the No. 17 nationally ranked Providence Friars (17-9-2, 8-7-1 HE) for the first time this season. 

Women’s Hockey victorious against Holy Cross

The Boston University women’s hockey team (10-9-4, 9-6-3 Hockey East) was in Worcester last night to face off against the Holy Cross Crusaders (3-21, 1-18 HE) for the third time this season. The Terriers earned their first regulation win of 2022 with a 4-3 feat.  

Holy Cross and BC up next for Women’s Team

After a tough loss to Northeastern last Friday, the Boston University women’s hockey team (9-9-4, 8-6-3 Hockey East) play Holy Cross (3-20, 1-17 HE) on the road and hosts rival Boston College (13-11, 11-8 HE) this weekend. The BC game originally scheduled for Saturday will happen on Sunday afternoon due to the snow storm

Terriers stave off Minutemen comeback for road win

The Boston University men’s hockey team (12-10-3, 8-6-3 HE) traveled west for a regular season series finale against the No. 9 ranked UMass Amherst Minutemen (12-7-2, 9-3-2 HE) Tuesday night. The Terriers held on to an early lead to take home the rubber match with a 6-4 final. 

Men’s Hockey heads to Amherst to take on Minutemen

The Boston University men’s hockey team (11-10-3, 7-6-3 HE) has a quick turnaround this week. Heading to Amherst to play the UMass Minutemen (12-6-2, 9-2-2) tomorrow night at the Mullins Center, the Terriers will face the reigning National Champions for the third time this season. 

Men’s Hockey shuts out UVM to split weekend series

The Boston University men’s hockey team (11-10-3, 7-6-3 HE) was back at Agganis Arena this afternoon for the second game of their series against the University of Vermont Catamounts (4-15-2, 3-8-2 HE). The matinee matchup resulted in a shutout 4-0 win, a collegiate first for sophomore netminder Drew Commesso.

The Boston University men’s hockey team (10-10-3, 6-6-3 HE) faced off against the University of Vermont Catamounts (4-14-2, 3-7-2 HE) for the first time this season Friday night at Agganis Arena where they fell 2-1 in overtime.
