Wise and Zegras get BU going

BU went down 2-0 in last Monday’s semifinal but flipped the script in the final as Jake Wise scored his second career goal and Trevor Zegras fired one in on the power play to put BU up by a pair less than ten minutes in.

Madden and McDonough turn the tides

Down by two, Tyler Madden got Northeastern on the board with a snipe less than three minutes into the second period and Aidan McDonough scored from the slot minutes later to knot it up early in the middle stanza.

Solow and Jozefek build NU’s lead

With wind in their sails after tying the game less than six minutes into the second period, Zach Solow and Grant Jozefek went back-to-back to put Northeastern up by two going into the third period.

Zegras caps off improbable comeback

David Farrance’s power-play wrister brought BU within one early in the third, and the Terriers miraculously equalized inside of a second to play on Trevor Zegras’s net-front swipe, sending the game to overtime.

Harris wins the Beanpot in 2OT

Working on a power play with less than six minutes to go in a second frame of overtime, Jordan Harris let go a wrister that found its way in and brought the Beanpot to Northeastern for the third year in a row.
