The 68th Beanpot title will be decided tonight when Boston University and Northeastern meet on the TD Garden ice at 7:30 p.m.
BU last won the tournament in 2015, and all three other Beanpot teams have won it more recently. The Huskies enter off of back-to-back championships in 2018 and 2019, aiming to make this run a three-peat.
BU beat Northeastern 6-3 in December to finish the first half of the season, but recent history has favored the Huskies, who took down BU in overtime twice last season in the Beanpot and Hockey East semifinals.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., barring any delays caused by the 4:30 p.m. consolation game between Boston College and Harvard.
