Returning to Tsongas Center for Game Two of the Hockey East Quarterfinals, the Boston University men’s hockey team will face off against UMass Lowell in search of a series-clinching victory.
The Terriers turned in an impressive performance in Friday’s series opener, coming away 3-0 winners over the RiverHawks. It was the only Hockey East playoff game of the night to not require overtime, and the only game won by the inferior seed.
With the victorious Game One, BU are now one win away from taking the series and moving on to the quarterfinals. However, with the hosts playing for their lives on the brink of elimination, securing Game Two will not be easy for the traveling Terriers.
