Outdoor hockey is back for the No. 5 Boston University men’s hockey team, which will take on the University of Massachusetts Amherst on Sunday as part of Frozen Fenway.
The tilt was originally scheduled for Saturday, but an impending snowstorm in the Boston area cased Hockey East to reschedule it for the following day. Irrespective of the change, Fenway Park should still serve as quite the setting.
Still, two points will be of the essence, and the Terriers are feeling good about their chances with seven players returning from the World Junior Championships. The U.S., which featured Jordan Greenway, Charlie McAvoy, Patrick Harper, Clayton Keller, Kieffer Bellows and Jake Oettinger, won gold. Meanwhile, Dante Fabbro won silver with Team Canada.
Their collective boost could prove massive, especially with BU fresh off a 5-4 overtime win over Union. For a full rundown of what to expect against the Minutemen, check out our preview.
