Who We Are

The Boston Hockey Blog is the leading student-run media outlet for Boston University hockey, of the Daily Free Press. We have provided elite coverage of BU hockey for more than a decade, writing for a reader base of the best fans in Terrier Nation.

Our Staff:

Brady Gardner

Since joining the Boston Hockey Blog in December of 2018, Brady has served as the blog’s director and head writer. A sophomore in the College of Communication, Brady is studying Public Relations and Journalism with the goal of pursuing a career in Sports Communications.

 

Patrick Donnelly

Patrick joined the Boston Hockey Blog in July of 2019, and serves as a contributing author. Majoring in journalism with a focus in sports, Patrick is a sophomore in the College of Communication. Beyond BU, he aims to pursue a career as a sports reporter and insider.

 

Paige Mautner

Having joined the Boston Hockey Blog in December of 2018, Paige serves as a contributing author. She is a junior in the College of Communication, majoring in broadcast journalism. Ultimately, Paige hopes to become a sports anchor someday.

 

Carolyn Mooney

Carolyn is a contributing author for the Boston Hockey Blog, specializing in women’s hockey coverage. She is a sophomore in the College of Communication majoring in journalism with a focus in sports. Carolyn hopes to ultimately become a professional sports reporter.

 

Jenna Vansickle

Jenna is a new addition to the Boston Hockey Blog’s photography team, and is a freshman in the College of Communication. She’s excited to be involved in all things hockey at BU and will be working as a photographer for both men’s and women’s hockey.

 

Emily Hunter

Emily began doing photography for the Boston Hockey Blog in January of 2019. Away from the arena, she is a sophomore Earth and Environmental Science major in the College of Arts and Sciences.
