Yasin Cissé makes statement after decision to leave Boston University

Forward Yasin Cissé has broken his silence following his exit from the Boston University men’s hockey program this week.

BU head coach Jack Parker had much to say earlier Wednesday about Cissé’s departure, but the Westmount, Quebec, native was much briefer after agreeing to join the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Cissé sent the following statement to The Daily Free Press Wednesday night:

“After reading Jack’s comments I prefer to say nothing and just move on with my life. I wish my former teammates the best of luck this year and in the future. They’re all beauties.

“I’m looking forward to being home and joining the Armada and continuing my studies in a Canadian university.”
