The Terriers struggled to generate any kind of offense in the first two periods of Saturday’s matinee with Providence (17-10-3, 13-8-2 Hockey East) at Walter Brown Arena. But when BU (20-9-1, 17-5-1 HE) finally broke through — with a Sydney Healey goal partway through the third period — it never looked back in a 3-1 win.
The Terriers were excellent defensively and on the power play in the win over the Catamounts.
