Following a decisive 7-2 victory on Friday night, the Boston University Terriers men’s ice hockey team (6-3-0, 4-2-0 Hockey East) returned home to Agganis Arena and came away with a 5-1 victory against the University of Massachusetts Minutemen (5-5-1, 1-5-0 HE) in their first Hockey East weekend sweep of the young season.
The Boston University men’s hockey team (5-3-0, 3-2-0 Hockey East) faced the UMass Amherst Minutemen (5-4-1, 1-4-0 HE) tonight at Mullins Center to resume conference play.
Following a 6-1 victory over no. 16 Ohio State last Saturday afternoon, the University of Connecticut Huskies (6-0-1, 3-0-0 Hockey East) won the first of a two game series against the Boston University Terriers (2-2-0, 0-1-0 HE) in the 3-2 overtime final.
Powered by a strong effort from the freshman class, the Boston University men’s hockey team cruised to victory against the Bentley University Falcons on October 1 at Agganis Arena.
With the Jay Pandolfo era underway on Commonwealth Ave, the Terrier hockey program finds itself in somewhat of a unique position – a group with a “win-now” mindset is also in a transitional period.
