In his first year with the Blog, Marcus is a graduate student in the College of Communication studying journalism. Outside of BHB, he runs his own personal media brand (@Marcussi), where he produces engaging content focused on the Boston Bruins on a variety of platforms.

Born and raised in the greater Boston area, Marcus has been a New England sports fanatic since he was a kid. He spent the past three years at Merrimack College, where he covered the MC men’s hockey team and was the Sports Editor of the Beacon Newspaper.

His college hockey fandom stemmed from his father, a Maine alum who took him to Hockey East games all across the region. His favorite all-time Terrier is Jack Eichel and his favorite BU jersey is the 2010 Frozen Fenway’s.
