Friday night’s home game for the Boston University women’s hockey team not only celebrated the accomplishments of this year’s senior class prior to the final regular season game of their collegiate careers, but also the accomplishments of Coach Brian Durocher.
After 18 years behind the bench, women’s ice hockey head coach Brian Durocher will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2022-2023 season.
In the long and storied history of Boston University hockey, only one class has managed the incredibly unique accomplishment of maintaining Beanpot supremacy throughout their Terrier careers.
As the calendar turns to February, here are the major storylines from around the league.
The league’s top team, the Merrimack College Warriors (15-7-1, 10-3-0 Hockey East), split their two games with the fourth-place Providence College Friars (12-6-6, 7-3-5 HE) with huge implications in the PairWise this weekend.
