In the seventh edition of Red Hot Hockey, the Boston University men’s hockey team will meet No. 2 Cornell University at Madison Square Garden tonight.
BU comes into this game off of their worst defeat of the season, falling 4-0 to Sacred Heart at home on Tuesday night. Cornell remains undefeated in the 2019-20 season, and was picked first in the preseason ECAC poll.
This biennial clash at one of the world’s most famous arenas has historically been dominated by the Terriers, but the Big Red did take the most recent contest in 2017 by a score of 4-3.
While this will be the biggest test for BU thus far this season, it will also be the biggest stage they’ve played on, and one of their biggest rivals they’ve faced. To make sure you don’t miss any of the action, come follow the news and chat with us on our live blog! Puck drop is at 8 p.m.
