Kicking off Hockey East competition, the Terriers travel to Lowell to take on the Riverhawks at 7pm tonight.

Both teams come into this clash off of a tie and a loss last weekend. BU came away winless from their home-opening series with Northern Michigan with a  4-4 tie and 4-3 loss, while Lowell was overcome by Colgate 4-3 before playing to a scoreless draw.

This contest will mark the beginning of an early stretch of conference fixtures for both teams, making a victory in this first game all the more important.
