Either the No. 2 Boston University men’s hockey team will extend its tie streak to five games or at least one of the two longest unbeaten streaks in the country will come to an end this weekend when the Terriers meet No. 7/8 University of New Hampshire.
BU (6-0-4, 4-0-4 Hockey East) is the only undefeated team still standing and its 10-game unbeaten streak is the longest in the nation. The Wildcats (5-1-3, 3-0-2 HE) own the second-longest streak at eight games. Faceoffs are set for 7 p.m. Friday night at UNH’s Whittemore Center and the same time Saturday night at Agganis Arena.
