Well, as we all know it was a tale of two seasons for the Boston University men’s hockey team. Read Matt’s season recap here. One thing to note is that Quinn did not comment on who are “flight risks”, that information can be found in the recap.
For those who have asked about why Matt excluded Joel Farabee on the list of players who are coming in next season, that is because to our knowledge (and on his elite prospects page), it says that he is expected to arrive during the 2019-2020 season.
Earlier this semester, the FreeP brought on a columnist named Matt Dresens (he is not the Matt who runs this blog), you can read his thoughts on the season here.
We will be starting on “Top 10” lists later on this week.

Congrats to Drew Melanson on his first career point/assist this evening for AHL Hartford!

Very nice recap. I enjoyed reading it! As for Farabee, that Elite Prospects page is definitely mistaken. You can see that it skips a year. They meant to say 2018-2019. Being one of the top forwards on the U-18 team, he would not be taking any gap year in between USNTDP hockey and college. He will be a top-six Terrier next season, no doubt. Jake Wise’s draft stock is definitely on the rise and I hope he centers Farabee’s line.

I agree Colin. I have met some of these Terriers over the past decade and have an excellent gut feeling as to them being great all-around people. Many of them are excited about their BU degrees too.

For sure! Very excited about Farabee. I am also excited to start thinking of our top-9 forwards. We should be able to roll three highly legit scoring lines, provided Brady returns.

Do some research. Farabee’s twitter page shows him signing his NLI in November. He lists his graduation as ’22. Heisenberg has him listed as 2018
