Another day, another big-time commit for the Boston University men’s hockey team.
This time, head coach David Quinn and his staff have secured the services of Alex Vlasic, a blueliner born in 2001.
The 15-year-old, who hails from Wilmette, Illinois, currently plays for the Chicago Mission. As of now, he clocks in as 6-foot-3 and 165 pounds, so he definitely boasts the size of a Hockey East player.
While little is known of Vlasic, early reports suggest he’s quite the get for Quinn and Co. His commitment also comes less than a week after Cade Webber, another 2001-born defenseman, pledged his future to the Terriers.
In other words, the talent pipeline to Agganis Arena keeps on growing stronger and stronger.
