We have a few minor notes and links that don’t quite deserve their own post, so I’ll compile them here:
-Daniel Guan, one of our staff photographers at The Daily Free Press, shot the Union game. Here are some of his photos from that. We’re especially digging the puck in this photo of Brandon Hickey.
–Quite the lively discussion going on about whether Coach Quinn et al should have let freshman forward Jack Eichel play a day after the United States was eliminated from the World Juniors. Here’s one take from Adam Wodon on College Hockey News.
-Eichel was named Hockey East Rookie of the Month for December on Tuesday morning. Junior goaltender Matt O’Connor was runner-up for Goalie of the Month.
-A bit old, but still on the topic of Eichel, here’s a video he did for NHL.com a few weeks back. Fun stuff.
-Conor and Andrew will be in Madison this weekend as BU takes on the University of Wisconsin. I’ll miss the trip due to work, but the boys will have you completely covered.
