From the FreeP: No. 18 Terriers look to bounce back against No. 3 Providence

After watching his team give up three goals in the final five minutes of play against Michigan State University Saturday evening, David Quinn told the Boston University men’s hockey team to be prepared for practice on Tuesday.
Five days later, and with the Terriers (3-3-0, 1-0-0 Hockey East) having dropped from a 13/14 ranking to 19th, Quinn said the focus of the week’s practices was on puck possession and staying out of the penalty box during this weekend’s home-and-home bout with No. 3 Providence College (4-0-1, 0-0-0 Hockey East).
“There are going to be games over the course of a season when your whole team plays like that,” Quinn said of Saturday’s 3-1 loss to the Spartans. “Whether they were mentally fatigued, physically fatigued, down on themselves after the loss to [University of] Michigan, our first road trip, whatever.
“So I gave them Monday off, and Tuesday went right back at it and got them ready to beat Providence.”
