On Sunday afternoon, the Boston University women’s hockey team won the Women’s Hockey East Championship with a 2-1 double overtime win over Providence College. Daily Free Press staffer Meredith Perri was able to record some of the postgame awards ceremony as well as reaction from men’s hockey coach Jack Parker in the immediate aftermath of the win.
