Andover native and forward Matt Quercia announced his commitment to Boston University in a tweet on Monday.

Quercia, now 17, spent this season with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs 16U program, with 31 points in 18 games of EJEPL play and 14 points in 14 games in ECEL play. In this year’s EHL playoffs with the Monarchs, he totaled five points in six games. Last season, with the Manchester Jr. Monarchs of the USPHL, Quercia had 35 points in 27 games.
