By Arielle Aronson/DFP StaffThe Boston University men’s hockey team saw the final door to its NCAA tournament hopes slam shut on Friday when Western Michigan beat Michigan 5-2 in the semifinals of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association tournament on Friday night. While the Terriers’ chances of making the NCAA tournament were slim after losing to Northeastern University on Sunday, a Western Michigan win was the only scenario on Friday night that could have officially eliminated BU from the NCAA tournament. The Terriers finish the season with a 19-12-8 record, 15-6-6 record in Hockey East.
