By Scott McLaughlin/DFP StaffJunior forward Andrew Glass has been dismissed from the Boston University men’s hockey team, according to coach Jack Parker. Parker suspended Glass indefinitely prior to last weekend’s Shillelagh Tournament for “missing meetings and being late.”After today’s practice, Parker added that “it’s a whole bunch of things” when asked if this is a similar situation to the one that caused him to bench Glass for last year’s season opener. At the time, Parker said Glass “broke team rules.”At the end of today’s practice, Parker said the suspension was still indefinite. In the hours since then, he has decided to make the suspension permanent.Glass came to BU as a seventh-round draft pick of the Washington Capitals. The Wrentham native contributed two goals and an assist in 15 games as a freshman on the 2008-09 national championship squad, but followed that up with just two points as a sophomore. Glass was off to a better start this season, registering two goals and three assists in 15 games to tie him for 10th on the team in scoring.
