Earlier today, the Boston University men’s hockey team released its finalized schedule for the 2017-18 season. This year’s regular season of 36 games will include 18 home games, 12 Hockey East road games and non-conference road games at Quinnipiac University and Arizona State. The Terriers will also play Cornell University at Madison Square Garden for the 6th Red Hot Hockey during Thanksgiving weekend. BU will play Harvard University in the opening round of the Beanpot Tournament on Feb. 5 and 12.

The season will start off with a home tilt against Union College on Sept. 30. It is the first time since the 1992-93 season that BU will start its regular season at home and the first time in 96 seasons that the Terriers’ season will begin in September.

Minnesota State will visit Agganis Arena for the first time on Oct. 13 and 14, and Denver University will make its way to Boston at the end of October.

The Hockey East match-ups will begin on Oct. 20 with a home-and-home series against the University of Connecticut. BU will play all of its Hockey East rivals twice with the exception of Merrimack College, Providence College, UConn and University of Maine who they will play three times.

The Terriers will spend two days in Maine before Thanksgiving and in Arizona during the end of January.
