Beanpot semifinals moved to Tuesday

Due to the impending snowstorm set to hit the Boston area on Monday, the semifinal games of the Beanpot Tournament have been postponed and moved to Tuesday.

The game times are still scheduled to be the same — Boston University and Harvard University will face off at TD Garden at 5 p.m., followed by the game between Northeastern University and Boston College.

We’ll still have full coverage tomorrow and Tuesday as BU seeks its first Beanpot championship since 2009. Stay warm and safe, everyone!

  1. America is becoming soft. Play the game. We did in ’78. When men were men.

  2. Walter,
    I hope you are kidding

    • Peter,
Walter is def an old school guy. The one that walked uphill to and from school in 3 feet of snow. 😛 Just kidding Walter. At times I agree this world has gone soft but I think this was a smart decision. Aong with going a bit soft at times, people no longer know how to drive in “bad weather”. Better to be safe than sorry!

  3. I’m going to agree with you Walter, at least this time. If this were a game that involved heavy travel, sure, postpone it, but this is a short trip for all 4 teams to a rink on top of a transportation hub for everyone else.

But whatever, I’m not going anyway. Go BU!
